Birkdale Village Clean Up

A Heartfelt Thank You to the Incredible Volunteers Who Beautified Birkdale Village. On Sunday morning, June 4th. (Gallery of the clean up below)

Organised by Birkdale Civic Society the clean up was a great success.

Since the removal of the road sweep in the village comments were circling online that our beautiful village was starting to look a tad neglected.

Birkdale Village witnessed an inspiring display of community spirit as 30 selfless individuals from the community and local businesses dedicated their time to clean up and litter pick the area.

Their efforts not only transformed the village into a cleaner place but also served as a powerful reminder of the positive impact that can be achieved through collective action. Today, we want to express our deepest gratitude to these exceptional volunteers and acknowledge the significant difference they made in our beloved Birkdale Village.

Armed with gloves, bags, and litter pickers, these remarkable individuals ventured into the village and collected over 20 full bags of rubbish.

It is said that the true strength of a community lies in its ability to come together, and this was certainly proved on Sunday morning.
